Organic Cotton
Cotton is an incredibly comfortable, soft, natural material that can bind moisture.
At Fjallraven, we always use long-fiber cotton of the highest quality. But cotton is a resource-intensive material. It requires a lot of water, pesticides and fertilizers to produce. This hurts local biodiversity and the surrounding ecosystem.
That's why Fjallraven decided to phase out conventional cotton and switch to organic cotton gradually. High-quality organic fiber is produced with less water and without the use of toxic pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.
Vardag
Vardag translates to "everyday", which fully corresponds to the philosophy of the collection. After all, it was created to build a bridge between the city and nature. Vardag clothes are equally suitable for going to school or work as well as for outdoor recreation. These are clothes that make adventures close to home even more accessible.
The Vardag family design is based on timelessness and functionality. And also our love for classic design. We took the prototype labels that were sewn inside the collar of our iconic 1960s and 1970s models and placed them on the outside of the new ones, updating only the font to match our new logo.
