Polyamide is a synthetic material widely used in clothing and equipment production due to its unique properties.
The main advantage of polyamide is its strength and wear resistance, it does not fade or wear out. It is lightweight and breathable. Polyamide is excellent at wicking away moisture, making it quick to dry.
In its new goods, Fjallraven uses recycled polyamide to minimize the pressure on nature and keep the quality level.
G-1000 Eco
G-1000 is Fjallraven's main material, created in 1968. Durable and strong, it consists of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. It is lightweight, ventilated, and protects against wind and UV radiation. And with Greenland Wax, it adapts to different climatic conditions.
Guided by our commitment to using as many recycled and sustainable materials as possible, we have created an eco-friendly version of the G-1000 Eco made from recycled polyester and organic cotton.
Keb
Keb is a family of our most technical clothing designed for outdoor activities in harsh environments. The family was named after the highest peak in Sweden - Kebnekaise.
Keb clothing is designed for long hikes and activities in difficult conditions, where freedom of movement is as important as durability and protection on difficult terrain. The design and cut of the collection is carefully thought out to provide the necessary functionality. For the same purpose, wear-resistant and durable materials are chosen for Keb items.
